Some of the legal work, however, are best described as small projects, so I was trying to use Airtable for that. Right now, I’m using Airtable as a legal office management tool (there’s a great template) and as an academic database I created from a Zotero table (it is amazing). It’s hard to grasp and it scared me a little bit. I’ve tried Clickup, but it seems so complicated. You can make an incredibly custom base tailored to your needs. You can absolutely track and manage projects in airtable. Our use case is a bit unique and our projects are such short, quick turnaround projects that we have different needs. We have an automation that will flag a project as green, yellow, or red (on track, warning, alert) based on how many people per day are left to recruit and how many recruiters are working for all ongoing projects and modified by a difficult level we assign a project at onset. We have a formula that tells us how much money we’re going to need to pay people. We have a formula that spits out how many people we need to recruit per remaining day until the project. This data is also connected to a project status base where we really do all the project management. Date, time, how many people get recruited, how much they get paid, etc. Which exists in a list of projects with all of our key data. So as our recruiters call and sign people up, they assign them to the relevant project. But the great thing is it just natively pulls other key data from our working airtable database so you can see in a live snapshot what status things are at.įor some context, I own a focus group facility so we do two primary things: recruit members of the general public to be in focus groups (from a database we maintain in airtable) and rent rooms out to conduct focus groups in. Really for our purposes it’s mostly project tracking. There’s a project management template on Universe I checked out too: I use airtable for fairly basic project management.
